Talking about his inspirations for writing the play and the music, Kele mentioned: “Go away to Stay is the story of what occurs when a wedding forces two very totally different households to return collectively.
“For the music for this mission I took cues from the data that my dad and mom would play in our home after I was rising up, West African high-life music, and I attempted to mix these sounds with the digital dance music I hear in golf equipment at present.
