The following exert is an eye witness statement. Please read into it what you will. This has been reported to mufon who I am sure are investigating:
time: approximately 0130 hours pst

on november 08, 2018 at approximately 0130 hours i was in my vehicle traveling north bound on ca sr 49 north approximately 2 miles north of mount bullion cutoff road in mariposa county. my direction of view at the time was towards the north west.
i noticed a very bright white light traveling across my field of view from the southwest to the northeast relatively low to the horizon at a high rate of speed. my observation lasted approximately 2-3 seconds.
at first i believed it to be a meteor however, i quickly realized what i had witnessed was missing most of the elements of previous meteors i have seen.
1. i did not perceive an angle of declination to the object. it
had a flat trajectory or flight path.
2. it did not produce tail or streak of light behind it.
3. i did not see signs of disintegration or ablation.
4. the objects light was constant, it did not flicker or flare.
5. when the light went out, it was instantaneous, it did not dim,
flare or flicker.
i did not observe any aircraft navigational lighting and the light the object was emitting was a constant, non-flashing bright white/blue light.
i did not observe any jet engine exhaust from the rear of the object.
in concussion, i do not believe this was a meteor.
